The trading of counterfeit products on the market can represent for companies both an economic loss and a huge damage to their image. Counterfeiting is duly provided for and punished in our penal code – article 473 stating that “anyone who counterfeits or alters marques or brands, domestic or foreign, intellectual or industrial products, or without being involved directly in the the counterfeiting or alteration, makes use of such counterfeited or altered trademarks and brands, shall be punished with imprisonment … “.

To prevent and curb this phenomenon, our agency provides a direct service with the scope of researching the counterfeit product, removing it from the market and gathering evidence to identify those responsible for the unlawful conduct, providing all documentation and material in support of any legal action to be taken to protect a company’s image and keep intact the confidence of consumers.
